10 Tips To Help Our Parents Feel Like Gold
Right now it's more important than ever to make the parents in your child care program feel like gold - to find ways to stand out above the other programs in your area. One way to accomplish this goal is through helping staff members communicate constructively with parents. This can be a tough challenge as you may deal with staff members judging the parents or taking things personally instead of focusing on solutions. I'm delighted to share with you a tip sheet that you can share with your staff to help them help the parents in your program feel like gold. This is only one tip sheet out of a series that I'll be creating for you to use. This 2-page tip sheet and word search are ready for you to print and implement today.
With this 6-page download you'll receive: *2-page tip sheet that's ready for you to print and implement with your staff. There are 2 versions in this download to help you use the material as an effective training tool. One has fill in the blanks allowing you to read the answers while your staff fills in the blanks and the other is the answer key. *Additionally we've created a word search if you want to have some fun with this material. Have your staff find the words in the puzzle and fill in the blanks with what they think the answer is or have them search for the words in the puzzle after you review the material as a reinforcement to what was discussed. Either way the puzzle adds a bit of fun and teambuilding to the learning experience.
Here's the first 3 tips with the fill in the blanks and a copy of the word search.

"I
just want to thank you for the wonderful materials this site
provides.
I have not been a member for very long, but already I have received
materials that I have used successfully with my staff.
The
first was the raffle question. We received this just a few days
prior to our all day staff training. We set it up and picked the
winner at the end of our training day. It was fun and stimulated a
lot of conversation during the days leading up to the drawing. We
are looking forward to the next raffle question.
Right now the staff are working on the crossword puzzle that just
came out. Again it is stimulating a lot of conversation and
enjoyment.
I really appreciate these fun activities. It helps to rejuvenate
and reinforce early childhood topics without me having to "lecture"
to them.
They are enjoying it as well.
Please keep sending these tools.
They are great."
