Comprehension Question
Julie Bartkus
Here's a fun idea that will increase your staff's desire to attend staff meetings and at the same time increase their knowledge. The idea is to post a raffle question on a raffle box 2 weeks before your next staff meeting. Place the raffle box where your staff will easily see it a couple times a day. The best kinds of questions to ask are ones where the answer involves a number of items they can guess. I've posted a sample question that is ready for your use. Every few weeks I'll create a new raffle question that you can download and use to help you get your team excited about your upcoming staff meeting. Enjoy! Julie

"I
just want to thank you for the wonderful materials this site
provides.
I have not been a member for very long, but already I have received
materials that I have used successfully with my staff.
The
first was the raffle question. We received this just a few days
prior to our all day staff training. We set it up and picked the
winner at the end of our training day. It was fun and stimulated a
lot of conversation during the days leading up to the drawing. We
are looking forward to the next raffle question.
Right now the staff are working on the crossword puzzle that just
came out. Again it is stimulating a lot of conversation and
enjoyment.
I really appreciate these fun activities. It helps to rejuvenate
and reinforce early childhood topics without me having to "lecture"
to them.
They are enjoying it as well.
Please keep sending these tools.
They are great."
