Conflict Resolution Worksheet: Download
Have you ever had the feeling that issues among your staff are not being resolved? Have you ever heard team members venting about the same situation over and over again without resolution? Have staff members shared with you hearsay about a certain person or certain situation hoping that you'll somehow secretly and magically resolve the situation without giving away their identity? These common challenges leave a question in the minds of leaders around the world. That question is: Why can't staff work through their issues without my involvement? It is a positive and productive action when staff members are able to identify issues that need to be resolved and then take constructive action to resolve issues directly. Unfortunately many staff don't possess the confidence or "know how" when it comes to conflict resolution. That's why I've created a conflict resolution worksheet that you can download and put into action immediately to help free up your time and coach team members to take positive and constructive action. When I present this worksheet to teams they all love the idea of having a system and worksheet in place to help them resolve issues. That's why I've decided to share it with all of our members of the Leadership Connection. Typically, I only share it with our leadership retreat graduates. But today it is yours!!! To make most effective use of the sheet listen to our audio program on conflict resolution. It will give you some great ideas for implementation. You may also feel free to share your questions, challenges and successes in our discussion forum. Leaders report immeasurable benefits in their working and learning environments when they've used this worksheet as part of their conflict resolution system including: 1) Less overreacting to situations
2) Less gossiping to others about issues that have nothing to do with them
3) Increased team morale (staff feel better knowing that they're not going to be talked about when there is an issue -- instead they will be talked to directly)
4) Increased respect
5) Conflicts and issues get resolved positively and directly
Give it a shot and put this worksheet to use for you today!!
